Efficiency Improvement of Photovoltaic Panels: A Novel Integration Approach with Cooling Tower

Overheating of photovoltaic (PV) panels decreases their efficiency and lifetime, subsequently increases the levelized cost energy (LCOE). Passive PV cooling would enhance operational stability durability. The tower (CT) technology offers an attractive approach for zero-cost capability. In this work, we developed customized a CT specific passive cooling. Since dense downdrafted cooled air gained high velocity, turbine was installed at bottom power production. At height’s ambient temperature, from 50 °C down to 30 °C. has enough capacity cool panels. This improved average annual by 6.83%. design specifications have highest performance, with maximum radius area that can be m. Furthermore, current could operate during night production minimum cost.
